LOST IN LACE
Birmingham's Lost in Lace exhibition inspired me for our new project 'Transparent Boundaries' This exhibition was dedicated to challenging perceptions of what lae can be. My favourite installation was 'After the Dream' by Chiharu Shiota. The piece focused on the lines created by the the thick black wool which was woven together to interpret lace while white supended dresses were trapped in the middle.
